Today was a sad day. Nathan's pet hamster died and we laid him to rest in the back yard.
He was a very good pet, we all loved him and will miss seeing him. He may very well have been the oldest hamster ever since he was over two years old. He was a gift from Santa back on Christmas of 2006. Me and Nathan decided to nam him Button because he had a gray patch of fur right where his belly button would be. He used to love to hoard all his food as soon as Nathan filled his bowl, he had sharp teeth, and was a very good escape artist.
Tonight we had a sunset funeral for him. We left flowers for him, said our goodbyes, and went inside and cried.
We will miss him.
