Yard Sale

This weekend all the ladies of the family decided to make some money having a yard sale. Everyone seems to be moving and it seemed like the perfect time. Since my aunt just moved out of her house and it was empty we decided to have an indoor yard sale. We dragged ourselves out of bed at 4am, pumped ourselves full of Starbucks Frapuccinos, and started peddling all of our treasures.

We had an entire house full of stuff. It's crazy how much people will offer you for stuff. Some people seem to think that nothing should be valued at more than a quarter. Brand new shirt with tags? One quarter. Wireless printer? One quarter. They look so shocked when we told them no. Then there were the thieves. Someone stole some pillowcases, a translator, and some VHS tapes. How ridiculous is that??

By the second day of waking up at 4am we were pretty beat. My aunts even had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the radio to work.

It was a very successful yard sale. We had tons of people come by. Next time maybe we could have my dad work security to deter the crooks.
